May is Asian Heritage Month. All students, faculty and staff are invited to Toronto Metropolitan University’s annual Asian Heritage Month Celebration. The 2024 theme is “Preserving the Past, Embracing the Future: Amplifying Asian Canadian Legacy”. This theme celebrates the rich heritage and contributions of people of Asian origin in Canada while also looking forward to the future with optimism and hopefulness.

At the event, you’ll hear from Dr. Teresa M. Chan, inaugural Dean and Vice-President, Medical Affairs, the Asian Faculty and Staff Community Network, and a musical performance by Jiajia Li and Warren Tse who are known as “Ginger Beef”.

All are welcome.

This event is wheelchair accessible

The university is committed to the accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities. If you require any additional accessibility accommodations to ensure your full participation, please let us know on the registration form.
