BReady offers a $4,000 wage subsidy (a limited number available and longevity of the hire beyond internship is a required criterion) to cover partial costs of a 5-month placement and reduce the financial burden of hiring, or give a racialized community member their first job experience in your company. We have allocated 35 wage subsidies to 18 startups and SMEs to date.

Important Update:

We are currently in the process of launching an upgraded version of the BReady Talent Platform. For new users, please complete the  (google form) form (external link)  to receive an application link once the platform is live. If you signed up before April 1, 2024, you'll get new login details via email to update or review the previously submitted information when the new version is live. Talent and employers can continue connecting during the upgrades there will be no interruption to the services.

Employer Eligibility Criteria:

To join the BReady platform, employers, including startups, SMEs, and corporations, must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Hiring Business or Technology Talent: Employers should have open positions for business or technology roles, such as engineering, front-end/back-end development, IT systems, data/business analytics, project management, quality control, UX/UI design, operations, marketing, sales, and more, within their organization.
  • Sector Focus: Employers must operate in one of the following industries - healthcare/biotechnology, food processing, advanced manufacturing, or logistics/supply chain.
  • Full-Time & Part-time Roles: Employers should be hiring for full-time or part-time positions to ensure a commitment to long-term employment opportunities.
  • Inclusive Culture: Employers must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusivity in their hiring practices and workplace environment.
