Turning the Knobs on Writers' Closets
Ruth Panofsky presented a paper at the Conference "Turning the Knobs on Writers' Closets: Archives and Canadian Literature" held at McMaster University, May 24 - 26, 2005. The Conference explored the variety of challenges facing researchers working with archival material, including letters, drafts of manuscripts, notebooks, journals and diaries.
Guest Editor
Ruth Panofsky was guest editor for the March 2005 Canadian Jewish Studies special issue on Canadian Jewish writers. Canadian Jewish Studies is an organ of the Association of Canadian Jewish Studies. A multidisciplinary journal published annually, Canadian Jewish Studies is dedicated to the critical examination of the Jewish experience in Canada and to promoting further research and study of those experiences. Dr. Panofsky is also a book reviewer editor for the journal of the Association for research on mothering and a poetry editor for Parchment: Contemporary Canadian Jewish Writers.
