About the LTO
The Learning and Teaching Office (LTO) was established in 1993 by the Vice President Academic to support and provide resources to faculty in their teaching. The Office reports to Dr. Chris Evans, Vice Provost Academic.
The Learning and Teaching Office fosters a culture of best teaching practice that is grounded in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
The mission of the Learning and Teaching Office is to provide professional development in teaching for faculty at all stages of their careers. To achieve this, the LTO provides services and programs that are focused on improving student learning, addressing diversity through appropriate teaching methods, engaging faculty in interdisciplinary experiences, and strengthening the connection between teaching and research.
The Office is located in Kerr Hall West, KHW373, 379 Victoria Street view map. Use the Library entrance at 350 Victoria Street, go to the 3rd floor, cross the small skywalk and you will find the LTO Office on your left - KHW373.
