Producer's Note
Welcome to the School of Performance Dance program’s production of EnChoreo 2022! We are proud and thrilled to premiere the work of Dance Program alumna, Francesca Chudnoff’s choreographic film “21 Trashing”.
This year, the Dance Faculty were excited to invite Francesca to create a new dance project with twenty-one second year performance dance students that would be shared with audiences through the lens of camera technology and digital ingenuity that would bring her vision to life.
Francesca generously committed themself to the idea of working with the students as an innovative collective, which enabled them to experience the creative work process and environment of the professional world. It was truly inspiring to see the joy, growth and commitment from everyone who were involved.
My sincere gratitude to Francesca for the energy, creative exploration and mentorship they brought to both the Dance and Production students throughout this journey. It has made a memorable imprint for us all.
I would also like to thank my colleague and faculty member Louis Laberge-Côté, for his ongoing support and thoughtful input throughout the process.
On behalf of the Dance Program, guest choreographer and dancers we would like to acknowledge and thank the students in the Production Program for their enthusiasm, hard work and dedication. They put tremendous effort into putting this show together and without them, this project would not be possible. Thank you!
To conclude, I want to offer my heartfelt congratulations to all the dancers for their generosity, energy and commitment to creating “21 Trashing” for EnChoreo 2022. It has been inspiring to witness their success.

Choreographer's Note
I want to say thank you to every single person that made this work come to life. 21 trashing is a love letter to every drop of creativity, fearlessness and effort put into this project. The experience of making 21 trashing in the studio, then in the theatre, then on my computer, truly felt like three different worlds. Making this work is an experience that is difficult to describe but hard to forget. THANK YOU TO THE STUDENTS.
