The River Canyon: 1988. It's a sweltering summer in an isolated community where people long for connection. Meanwhile in the present: Christian Planet’s album goes platinum. Arctic Ocean is the compressed mythology of a landscape, concerning the birth and death of a rock star, the making of centaurs, the blooming of pear trees, and the suicide of houses. As the Centaur asks: What does it mean to love a person?

Ishan Davé (he/him) is a Tkaronto-based production-designer/director, visual artist, and actor. He is an instructor at The Armstrong Acting Studio, graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, and associate artist with the performance collective It Could Still Happen.
